NORTHBROOK ATHLETIC CLUB COMMITTEE MEETING

  1. Apologies – R. Awcock (President), A. Deavy (Ladies' Captain), J. Wilson (Men's Captain), M. Dalton (Membership Secretary).
  2. Treasurer's Report – Tony Mackness presented end of year accounts, and discussed the kit in stock. Richard Cawley will audit the accounts.
  3. Social Secretary Report – Thanks to Corinna O’Connor for organising the Christmas meal at the Farmhouse, near Hearshall Common on 11th December. The Annual Awards Night is booked at Jaguar for Saturday 30th January 2016.
  4. Mens/Ladies Captain's Report – The men are still 2nd in division 3 of the Birmingham League XC after 2 races at Leamington and Aldridge. The ladies are doing well in the Midlands Ladies League after races at Leamington and Cofton. Amanda Deavy was selected for the Inter Counties XC after a great run at the Warwickshire XC Champs at Warley Woods. The men and ladies completed teams.
  5. Runner of the Month – December 2015 winners – Men: Paul Robbins – PBs, Ladies: Amy Burdis – Castle Run Ultra and PBs. Bob Adams will distribute vouchers to recent winners.
  6. Any other business –
    1. Brighton Marathon – 2 club places are accepted by Adrian Powell and Joe Kelly
    2. AGM – booked at Jaguar for Wednesday 27th January 2016. Proposals are on the club website. Committee nominations are needed.
    3. Christmas Cracker Run – Thanks to Tony Mackness for organising this event. There was a great turnout, and £90 was raised for Myton Hospice.
    4. Equipment Store – more keys are needed .
  7. Next Meeting – 8 February 2016 at 8pm.at Bob Adams' residence.
