  1. Apologies – R. Adams (Chairman), A. French (President)
  2. Matters Arising – Clive Horton and Spencer Davies have both helped as level 2 group leaders. There are more LIRF coaching courses planned for Jo Moyse and Spencer Davies. Membership subscriptions are now due.
  3. Treasurer's Report – Tony Mackness discussed accounts.
  4. Awards Review – there should have been a new cross country presentation for men and ladies (first, second, third) at the awards night. Bob Adams will order shields when he can. The first long service certificates will be announced at the Summer Handicap, then on future training nights.
  5. Social Secretary Report – Corinna proposed that we have a post marathon meal on Friday 29th April. Cake bakers are needed for the first Summer handicap. Clare Rowntree suggested a Laser Quest social night. Damian Pharoah and Richard Cawley are looking to organise a quiz event at Jaguar.
  6. Mens/Ladies Captain's Report – The men were promoted to division 2 of the Birmingham League XC after the final division 3 race at Gloucester (2nd overall). Stuart Lumsden finished joint 3rd individual. The ladies finished 8th in their Midland XC League division after the final race is at Wolverhampton. Amanda Deavy has been selected for the Inter-Counties XC but has been injured recently. There were many PB’s at the Coventry Half Marathon and Stuart Lumsden ran a very fast 1.17 at the Wokingham Half Marathon. Teams will be entered for the Midland Road relays. The Warks Road League starts soon with entries for 2 castles reserved for club members. There is a new race – the Monty 5Km in Leamington.
  7. 10Km race – The race is on 10th July 2016. The licence has been received. Entries are open on the runners World website. Medals will be given to finishers. Numbers will be collected on the day. The Myton Hospice launch is due to happen soon. More publicity is needed. Roger has redesigned the 10Km website with information and entry details.
  8. Runner of the Month – February 2016 winners – Men: Stuart Lumsden – 3rd overall finisher in division 3 of the Birmingham XC League, and fastest Northbrook half marathon for a few years (1 hour 17 min). Ladies: Alison Smith – big half marathon PB.
  9. Any other business –
    1. Birmingham XC League AGM – Friday 1st April at Alexander Stadium. We have agreed to bid for a joint division 2 fixture with Massey Ferguson for next season.
    2. Spectators will be travelling to the London Marathon again.
    3. Spencer Davies said group leaders could mention forthcoming events during their runs.
    4. England Athletics have offered some pre-ordering of tickets for London 2017 World Champs. Mark Baker will put names forward.
