Northbrook Santa with and one of his elves

We ran the “route 2” to avoid lower car park flood.  Still very wet, streams across the paths, muddy, a smattering of Santas, lots of hats and a few twinkling runners. There was a great support bunch from the club and we were all rewarded with the customary tea/coffee and bacon/sausage butties. Corinna collected a “bootfull” of goodies for the Coventry Foodbank from our generous members - Kevin

Mick O'Shea

Mick O'Shea leads Northbrook men
into the promotion zone

Men's 'A' Team 2nd position on the day, 3rd overall
Men's 'B' Team 1st position on the day, 1st overall

AWESOME running from the Northbrook men and ladies!

The mens 'A' team were 2nd on the day and now lie 3rd in the table, a promotion spot! The 'B' team continued to show their strength in depth by coming 1st out of the B teams and cementing their position as the leading 'B' team. You can NOT get better than that!

The 'A' team made up 16 points on our arch rivals 'Massey Ferguson' to leave us only 12 points away from them. We are also now 83 points clear of 4th.

We are in a promotion position! This makes it even more important to get as many runners as possible out for the next two races. We had 20 for the first race and 15 for the second so we need another 20 for the third race which is on the 12th January at Droitwich. Please please do your best to clear your diaries that day and support your running club by donning the best vest in the league and pulling on some XC spikes.

Well done again everyone, my 'race face' has just got a little more stern and stubborn - John
