Full results
This excellent no frills event (£13 entry) is run by 1485 Tri Club in
March and October every year at the Market Bosworth Water Trust, which
is a great venue. I have completed this on a number of occasions and always
enjoyed it. A small field of 74, although all 100 places were sold out,
were on the start line in very foggy conditions. You couldn’t even see
the lake we were running around! The run, mostly on grass (cross- country
preparation!) soon had the small field strung out. Out on the foggy bike
course I made up a few places, back into transition and on the 2nd run
I struggled to find my running legs, but eventually found some rhythm to
beat my 2012 PB by 4 minutes.
