|06/11/10||Dave's Weekend in Wales
To most people the idea of a few days on the coast involves a stroll on the beach and a bit of walking. Not so though for Northbrook's intrepid Dave Fawkner. Having run the High Peak 40 and The Beast 10 on two consecutive days in September, Dave upped the stakes by running the Pembrokeshire Coast Challenge on 4 - 6 November. He completed the three marathon distances, centred around the aptly named town of St David's and taking in the rugged Pembrokeshire coastline, on three consecutive days in 16h 20m, to finish 10th. Dave says he's looking for something tough for his next venture.

|14/07/10||Race the Train
Booming thunder and the onset of rain were unwelcome travel partners for the 30-odd Club members boarding the 7.18pm train from Tile Hill to Hampton in Arden on Wednesday 14 July. When they met up with the eight who had run from Tile Hill to the start in Marsh Lane, the sky had cleared and all was set for the 10km run back on a predominantly off-road route.
New this year was a revised off-road route from Berkswell to Tile Hill, made more interesting by the need for those unfamiliar with trail running to do a bit of map reading along the way. Despite some navigational errors the Club maintained its complement of members.
