06/11/10 Dave's Weekend in Wales
Northbrook's Dave FawknerTo most people the idea of a few days on the coast involves a stroll on the beach and a bit of walking. Not so though for Northbrook's intrepid Dave Fawkner. Having run the High Peak 40 and The Beast 10 on two consecutive days in September, Dave upped the stakes by running the Pembrokeshire Coast Challenge on 4 - 6 November. He completed the three marathon distances, centred around the aptly named town of St David's and taking in the rugged Pembrokeshire coastline, on three consecutive days in 16h 20m, to finish 10th. Dave says he's looking for something tough for his next venture.
